Recorded live at San Diego's Civic Center in 2003, Tonex mixes up the traditional Gospel format as only he can, employing mind-blowing special effects and seamless formattng to create a most incredible visual experience. The performance features both a Gospel band and thirty-voice choir. Kirk Franklin and Sheila E. also appear with intro by Yolanda Adams.
The genre-hopping wonder of Tonex's music makes him a difficult character to pin down. Drawing on influences from gospel, rap, soul, funk, and jazz, the eclectic star has impressed audiences all over the world. He has named his style "Nureau," and found great success with records such as O2, PRONOUNCED TOE-NAY, and others. This release is designed as a visual accompaniment to his OUT THE BOX album, and sees the inimitable star performing at San Diego's Civic Center in September 2003.
